Dave Allinson / Phill Brown
Created by Dave Allinson with producer Phill Brown, AV1 brought projected images and layered sound into the Victorian undercroft of Middlesbrough station. Architecture became part of the work, changing what visitors saw and heard as they moved.
In a separate room, a deconstructed piano and light projection accompanied the specially written track Piano. Its sound drifted into the surrounding spaces, mingling with the other looping recordings.
